Unfortunately no. Our program is designed for one mother with one child age 3 or younger; or pregnant with no other children.

  3. Q. If I have dropped out of school can I come into the program?

Yes. We encourage completion of your education and will help you in every way possible to obtain your academic goals. All residents are required to pursue a formal education and/or higher degree of learning.

One of the eligibility requirements for admission is that you have decided to keep your baby. We do not promote adoption, abandonment or abortion.

  7. Q. How can I be admitted to your program?

Admission is strictly voluntary. We invite you to visit our home and talk with our staff who will discuss the details of our program so you can make an informed consent. We also accept referrals from schools, churches, health care facilities and individuals.

  8. Q. Can the father of my baby stay with me while in the home?

No. We do not support male-female co-habitation outside the bond of marriage. However, fathers are encouraged to participate in activities that foster the family concept. Careful screening will be done to assess whether a father is appropriate to be involved. Additionally, fathers will only be allowed to visit in a common visiting area.

  9. Q. How old must I be to enter the program?

We accept young mothers of age 15-21 years old.

  10. Q. Does your program have a lot of church activities and do I have to attend?

WOHAD is founded on and governed by Biblical principles. This means we use the Bible as our guide and standards of practice. We teach spiritual principles for moral practices through daily devotion and Bible study. Our residents are encouraged to attend and actively participate in a worship service of choice.
